EFFECTS OF CROSSFIT TRAINING ON BODY FUNCTION AND MOVEMENT PERFORMANCE OF AEROBIC ATHLETES

ABSTRACT Introduction: Physical fitness is the athletic ability to perform physical activities safely, avoiding risk of injuries or performance-related complications on field. CrossFit has been an effective training method for its natural movements and integration aerobic anaerobic exercises. It believed that these characteristics may benefit gym athletes. Objective: Evaluate effects gymnastics Methods: A controlled experimental study involving 24 athletes was run 9 weeks. The were divided into group with CrossFit-based training, control received no additional intervention. indices fitness, motor function, movement performance analyzed before after results statistical analyses discussed. Results: Considerable variation obtained in distinct groups muscle activities: abdominal crunches from 37.66±6.12 50.11±3.01; medical ball lateral throw 8.04±1.00 10.80±2.21; bridge 72.60±11.40 113.69±14.47; flexion sitting position 22.52±2.51 26.46±1.33; rope climbing 32.32±7.28 25.97±7.08.
